The BLCC, in collaboration with Awex and hub.brussels is pleased to invite you to a ‘Meet the Architect’ event with Stefano Paiocchi from Zaha Hadid Architects in Brussels on Thursday 26 November 2019.

Stefano Paiocchi will be raising the following topics:

• The impact of Brexit upon the architecturural and construction industry in Europe and within the UK;
• The types of products that are currently attracting the UK-based architects;
• The architecture and construction industry in Europe and in Asia

Zaha Hadid Architects is a British international architecture and design firm founded by Zaha Hadid, with its main office situated in Clerkenwell, London and is recognised as one of the best architecture practices in the world.

Stefano Paiocchi joined ZHA in 2013. He specialises in complex façade and structure coordination and detailing, and he’s been registered as an architect in Italy since 2000 and in the UK since 2015. Stefano received his degree in architectural design and technology from the Polytechnic University of Milan, with honours, in 1998. He then gained his Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) Metropolitan Research and Design program (MR+D) in Los Angeles in 2003. He has worked on notable projects including CityLife Residences, Offices and Retail, Milan, Italy; Grace on Coronation, Brisbane, Australia; City of Dreams Hotel / Macau Melco Crown, Macau, China.

The ‘Meet the Architect’ event will take place at the British Chamber of Commerce office in Brussels on Thursday 26 November 2019.
