Brexit Seminar
26th September 2017 @ 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm
£100 – £125On Tuesday 26 September, The Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain, in conjunction with PwC Belgium’s Customs & International Trade team, is organising the first of a series of quarterly workshops in Belgium to discuss the potential customs impact of Brexit on the way you and your company will be doing business with the UK.
Keyspeakers include:
- H.E. Ambassador Rose – Embassy of Great Britain (TBC)
- Lionel Van Reet – Partner Customs and International Trade Compliance
- Michel Vanhoonacker – BLCC Chairman
- Dirk Lannoo – Vice Chairman Katoen Natie NV
There are many arguments and suggested scenarios about the potential post-Brexit model but one thing is for sure…a border between the EU and the UK will soon be a fact. The UK will become, for many of us, the first non-EU country where you will need to comply with customs formalities for your goods as part of your daily operations.
It goes without saying that in order to ensure a well-timed and smooth transition, a certain amount of preparation will be necessary. It is therefore of paramount importance that your company anticipates these changes in a timely manner to avoid goods being stuck at the border.
Although the purpose and objectives for these Brexit sessions are numerous, we do hope that these workshops will increase your awareness of the potential scenarios which can be expected and will also enable you to prepare your company in dealing with this complex and multi-angled issue.
When: Tuesday 26 September 2017 from 13h30 to 17h
