Ales Tales Beer Festival 21-22 July 2017
21st July 2017 - 22nd July 2017
£35.00BLCC member, Ales Tales are delighted to invite you to the UK’s first ever Belgian Beer Festival on 21-22 July at the renowned Oval Space on Hackney Road, London which provides a great opportunity to sample Belgian-made craft beers and amazing Belgian-inspired food in the heart of London.
“We are proud of the fact that we have created Ales Tales Festival to celebrate everything that makes Belgian beer and food great,” says organiser Nicolas Tondeur. “UNESCO recently added Belgian beer to its Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. We now want to showcase our beer’s quality and diversity to the city of London, from the traditional “triple” to the other brews on the beer spectrum.”
Ales Tales Festival has been organised by two Belgians – Nicolas Tondeur and Sayuri Kasajima, who have been expats for ten years and have been living in London for the last four. “When we first moved to the UK, we were surprised not to find our favourite Belgian beers in the local pubs and supermarkets,” Nicolas remarks. “Considering how much this country loves beer, we felt that something needed to be done and this is how the idea of a beer festival emerged. We want to show the world what great things Belgium has to offer.” They handpicked twenty special breweries to represent the best of both the old and new Belgian brewing techniques.
What better way to celebrate Belgian Independence Day than join the Ales Tales Festival at the Oval Space on 21 and/or 21 July. For further information and to purchase tickets which are £35, please click here. Tickets include a festival glass and unlimited tasting!
