First Tuesday Drinks are our quarterly networking evenings, bringing together members, alumni, students, and guests for informal conversations, new connections, and the exchange of ideas in a friendly setting over drinks.

Special Guest Speaker

We are pleased to welcome Grethe Schepers, Lists Director for Europe at Fortune, who will share insights from the 2025 Fortune 500 Europe.

Grethe Schepers is a trained economist who has served as director of research, editor, and head of communications. With a professional background at leading financial institutions, including Fidelity International and HSBC, she specialises in expanding Fortune’s renowned rankings across the European market and developing innovative new lists that reflect the region’s evolving business landscape.

In her talk, Grethe will explore why Europe’s corporate champions appear economically powerful yet strategically squeezed. From ageing industrial giants and margin pressures in Europe’s largest economies to the widening valuation gap with U.S. tech-driven leaders, the data reveals a deeper story about scale, innovation, and what may be holding Europe back.
