The second edition of the Eurostart Venture Awards was a huge success, marking a significant step forward for the competition in both scale and prestige. Expanding from three to seven leading universities across Belgium, Luxembourg, and the UK, EVA 2025 showcased even more of the next generation of startups. The finalists presented bold, forward-thinking solutions across a range of industries, demonstrating not only innovation but also a strong focus on sustainability, technology, and social change.

Hosted at the Belgian Ambassador’s Residence, we were honoured to welcome both H.E. Jeroen Cooreman, Belgian Ambassador to the UK, and H.E. Georges Friden, Luxembourg Ambassador to the UK, who showed their support for the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The Judging Panel

Leading the event was our Jury. Filled with specialists fromvarious sectors, our jurors led thecharge in exploring the newgeneration of entrepreneurs. To read more about our expert panel of judges.

The finalists delivered engaging and dynamic pitches, each followed by an in-depth Q&A session with a panel of expert judges. Their ability to clearly articulate their business models, market potential, and long-term vision made for a highly competitive and inspiring event.

Beyond the competition itself, attendees had the opportunity to engage in networking sessions, connecting startups with investors, mentors, and industry leaders eager to support the next wave of entrepreneurs. The event successfully highlighted the incredible talent emerging from universities and reinforced the importance of fostering entrepreneurial innovation.

This year, the Eurostart Venture Awards consisted of seven universities showcasing the most innovative and ambitious start-ups from Belgium, Luxembourg, and the UK.
