Prado Expands with the Acquisition of Vervloet and Atelier Luxus

BLCC member Prado, the Belgian manufacturer of innovative invisible home technology, has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of two renowned Belgian brands: Vervloet, the Brussels-based specialist in luxury brass and bronze hardware, and Atelier Luxus, known for its refined switches and sockets.

This strategic move builds on Prado’s 2022 integration of ROND, the minimalist socket and switch company, and strengthens its ambition to unite Europe’s most exceptional maisons of craftsmanship under one visionary house of brands.

Founded in 2020 by Thibault Renson, Prado develops aesthetic and functional innovations for high-end residential interiors. The company first gained recognition with its light + ventilation line, combining architectural lighting with integrated ventilation. Its “invisible technology” is now featured in projects worldwide, in collaboration with leading architects such as Axel Vervoordt and Vincent Van Duysen, as well as international brands including Aesop, Chanel, and Saint Laurent.

With the addition of Vervloet and Atelier Luxus, Prado strengthens its role as a curator of expertise, offering architects and designers a cohesive design language across lighting, sockets, switches, and fittings. This unified approach supports the growing demand for discreet, timeless interiors, where heritage craftsmanship meets contemporary innovation.

Commenting on the acquisitions, Prado founder and CEO Thibault Renson said:

Vervloet and Atelier Luxus embody more than a century of know-how and artistic dedication. By bringing them into the Prado family, we aim to protect their heritage while also opening new horizons in design, innovation and international visibility.”

Together, Prado, ROND, Vervloet, and Atelier Luxus form a unique collective of Belgian excellence, combining heritage and innovation to elevate luxury residential design worldwide.
