Biolectric Nominated for 2025 Trends Impact Awards

BLCC member Biolectric, a Belgian company at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions for agriculture, has been nominated for the Climate Action Award at the Trends Impact Awards 2025. This recognition celebrates the company’s latest innovation: the world’s most affordable biomethane installation, which allows farms to produce not only heat and electricity from manure but also green gas, significantly reducing carbon emissions and supporting a circular economy.

Founded with the mission to make agriculture more sustainable, Biolectric designs, installs, and operates renewable energy systems that transform farm waste into clean energy. By combining technical innovation with practical solutions, the company helps farmers reduce their environmental footprint while generating additional revenue streams. Currently, Biolectric’s biomethane solution is available in the Netherlands, and the company is working to scale internationally, bringing sustainable energy to more farms across Europe and beyond.

This nomination reflects Biolectric’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and collaboration with partners and suppliers. Although public voting closed on the 14th September, the awards ceremony will be held in November, celebrating the achievements of companies that are driving meaningful impact in their sectors.
