The Eurostart Venture Awards (EVA) 2026 marked a key milestone in the evolution of this leading university entrepreneurship event. Now in its third edition, the programme introduced a two-day format designed to support both early-stage start-ups and revenue-generating university spin-offs across Belgium, Luxembourg and the UK.
Overview
Organised in partnership with leading universities across Belgium, Luxembourg and the UK, the EVA continues to highlight and support emerging entrepreneurial talent and innovative business ideas.
In 2026, six early-stage start-ups and five university spin-offs were selected to participate, representing a diverse range of sectors including LegalTech, health, mobility, and digital services. Together, they reflect the strength and diversity of university-led innovation across Europe.
Two-Day Programme
This year, we introduced a structured two-day format, hosted across two prestigious London venues: the Luxembourg Embassy and the Belgian Ambassador’s Residence.
The first day focused on early-stage start-ups, providing founders with the opportunity to pitch their ideas, receive expert feedback, and gain exposure to investors, incubators, and business leaders. The second day showcased university spin-offs with proven traction, offering a more investment-focused environment where ventures presented their business models and engaged directly with venture capitalists and industry experts.
Together, this format ensures tailored support for ventures at different stages of development while creating valuable connections across the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem.
