We want to inform our members using the BLCC postal address service about an important update to our document retention policy.
Due to changes in UK regulations, we are no longer required to keep physical paperwork for seven years as long as we maintain a secure digital copy. Moving forward, we will store all documents digitally in the BLCC Portal and will securely shred physical copies. As always, you will continue to receive a digital copy of each document when it arrives.
If you would like to retain physical copies, we can forward them to an address of your choice once a year. Handling and postal forwarding costs will apply. Please inform us of your preference by 30/04/2025.
If we do not receive a request, we will proceed with the new policy.
