Eurostart Venture Awards 2027: Pre-EVA Networking Evening
The Pre-EVA Networking Evening marks the official launch of the Eurostart Venture Awards (EVA) 2027, bringing together the organisations, partners and individuals who help shape one of the BLCC’s flagship entrepreneurship programmes.
Hosted at the Belgian Ambassador’s Residence in London, the evening will welcome investors, universities, entrepreneur organisations, strategic partners and members of the wider business community for an evening dedicated to innovation, collaboration and cross-border connections.
About the Event
The Eurostart Venture Awards have become a leading platform for supporting emerging businesses and strengthening entrepreneurial links between Belgium, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom.
As the opening event of the 2027 programme, the Pre-EVA Networking Evening provides an opportunity for the innovation ecosystem to come together before applications, pitching events and judging begin. In a relaxed and prestigious setting, the organisations supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs can strengthen existing partnerships, establish new relationships and explore future opportunities for collaboration.
The evening will also feature a keynote address from Joris Van Der Gucht, who will share the story behind one of Belgium’s most successful technology scale-ups, alongside his insights into entrepreneurship, innovation, international growth and building high-performing technology businesses.

Joris Van Der Gucht is a Belgian technology entrepreneur and Co-Founder & CEO of Ravical.
He previously co-founded Silverfin, helping grow the company into one of Europe’s leading cloud accounting platforms before its acquisition by European software company Visma in a landmark €300 million deal. Today, alongside leading Ravical, Joris continues to support Europe’s innovation ecosystem as Co-Founder of Wintercircus in Ghent and Entrepreneur in Residence at the Vlerick Entrepreneurship Academy.
