Eurostart Venture Awards 2026: The Start of the Next Chapter

Last month, we proudly delivered the third edition of the Eurostart Venture Awards, and it was our most ambitious yet.

What began as an initiative to connect and spotlight early-stage entrepreneurs has grown into a true multi-day event. This event unites talent from Belgium, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom for two days of supporting the next generation of innovators.

This year, we took another significant step forward by expanding the EVA into a two-day event with two parallel competitions: one for early-stage university start-ups, and a brand-new track for scale-ups and spin-offs seeking investment. Over the two days, 11 ventures took to the stage to demonstrate their innovations, ambition and creativity.

Day 1 - Early Stage Start-Ups Pitch Event

The first evening brought together six outstanding university start-ups from Belgium, Luxembourg, and the UK. Hosted at the Luxembourg Embassy, each team delivered a 5-minute pitch followed by a 10-minute Q&A with our expert jury panel. The standard was exceptionally high, with every finalist showcasing real potential alongside a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

This year's finalists were Azate, CyberMe Creative AI, Enidia AI, EPIVIA, MoveMe, and Sura. Every finalist was guaranteed a cash prize between £1,000 and £5,000 to support the launch or growth of their venture.

Day 2 - Raising Capital Spin-Off Pitch Event

New for this year, we introduced a second evening held at the Belgian Residence. Five established scale-ups and spin-offs from across BeLux and the UK presented their innovations and growth potential to a curated audience of investors and industry leaders. A standing networking reception followed the pitches, allowing founders to engage directly with the investors in the room.

Looking Ahead

We are excited to build on the momentum of this year's edition. The Eurostart Venture Awards continues to evolve, and with a growing network of universities, investors, and partners across Belgium, Luxembourg, and the UK, the ambition for future editions is only growing. We can confirm that the EVA will return in 2027 with a refined multi-day programme. Watch this space.

The Eurostart Venture Awards 2026 would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors: Try Lunn & Co, Branch Austin McCormick LLP and the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. Their backing ensures that EVA continues to deliver real value and visibility for innovative ventures across all three nations.
