Following our initial announcement, which you can read here, we are pleased to share further details about an exciting new chapter for the BLCC.
This February marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the BLCC. After more than 15 successful years at Club Quarters in Trafalgar Square, we are delighted to announce that the BLCC has moved into its new headquarters in the vibrant borough of Shoreditch. Our new address is:
Waterside, Unit 33, Schooner Court, 44-48 Wharf Road, London N1 7UX
Overlooking the peaceful Wenlock Basin on Regent’s Canal and located just one tube stop from King’s Cross St Pancras, our new home, the BLCC Work Lounge, has been designed as a dedicated space for our members: a place to work, meet, connect and collaborate at the heart of the Belgian and Luxembourg business community in the UK.
More than just an office, the Work Lounge will serve as a shared base for our network, a welcoming environment where Club Members visiting London can work between meetings, host discussions with partners, or simply connect with fellow professionals from across the BLCC community.
An office with character
Spread across two floors, the Work Lounge offers a flexible coworking environment tailored to the needs of modern professionals. The space includes individual and shared working pods, a large downstairs meeting room, a kitchen, secure lockers and a terrace that will be ideal for informal gatherings and summer events.
While our previous location placed us in the centre of London’s bustle, our new canalside setting offers a calmer and more inspiring environment. Members can enjoy the natural surroundings of Wenlock Basin, often accompanied by the gentle presence of swans and ducks along the canal, while remaining within easy reach of central London.
Blending industrial heritage with modern design, the site is a converted Victorian printing factory that has carefully preserved many of its original features, including cobblestones, large warehouse windows and canalside seating. This combination of historic character and contemporary workspace reflects the spirit of the BLCC itself: rooted in tradition while supporting forward-looking businesses operating between Belgium, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom.
Officially opening in May
We look forward to welcoming all Club Members from May, when full access to the coworking space, kitchen, and terrace will be available during working hours (08:30 – 17:30).
As the space is being designed specifically for the needs of our members, the meeting room is currently being finalised to include a flexible, closable wall. This will allow for both a private enclosed setting and the option to open up the full floor. In the meantime, members can continue to book meeting rooms at Club Quarters. Please contact us directly to arrange the use of these rooms to ensure you still receive the current Connections rates.
To support this new chapter, we will also introduce a new booking platform, Skedda, enabling members to easily reserve workspaces and meeting facilities within the BLCC Work Lounge. Members wishing to book ahead of the official opening are welcome to get in touch with the team.
Club Members will receive an official mailing next week (week commencing 30 March), providing full details of the transition. This will include the Club Membership Pack, with key information on accessing the new office, using the facilities, hotel stay discount codes, and the full range of membership benefits, as well as important dates during the transition period.
In the meantime, if you would like to visit the space and get a preview of our new home, please do get in touch. We would be delighted to show you around!
