Our final First Tuesday Drinks of the year brought festive cheer to Boyd’s Bar at Trafalgar Square, where members of the BLCC and the Anglo-Belgian Society gathered for an evening of relaxed networking and seasonal celebration.
First Tuesday Drinks is our quarterly opportunity to bring together professionals from across our communities in an informal setting. This event is our ideal moment for our network to catch up, collaborate, and strengthen connections.
For this Christmas edition, we were joined by a very special and unmistakably Belgian guest: St Nicholas himself!
Arriving with a bag full of treats, St Nicholas handed out chocolates and biscuits to those who had been nice this year, and shared a few encouraging words with those who may have been less so. His appearance added a joyful and traditional touch, making the evening truly memorable.
With nearly 50 attendees from the BLCC, the Anglo-Belgian Society, and the embassy networks, the event highlighted the unity and strength of the Belgian community in the UK. The room was filled with conversation, new introductions, and plenty of festive cheer as we celebrated the season together.
