SUMMARY:Belgian Exhibition: La Residenza by Laurent Reypens
DESCRIPTION:Following the official opening\, the Belgian Embassy in London is pleased to welcome visitors to view the exhibition La Residenza by Belgian artist Laurent Reypens at the Ambassador’s Residence. \nOpen to the public for a limited time\, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience Reypens’ work in an exceptional and historic setting in the heart of London. \nAbout the Exhibition\nLaurent Reypens is known for his paintings and sculptures in bronze and glass\, characterised by a distinctive visual language built around repetition\, abstraction\, and balance. \nThroughout his career\, Reypens has explored the motif of the “Bowl” from the Belgian ceramics company Royal Boch. Through variations in positioning and composition\, he creates works that evoke tranquillity\, movement\, and subtle narrative. The repetition of this form lends his work both dynamism and a refined sense of abstraction. His monochrome paintings and sculptural pieces are often displayed within architectural spaces of character. La Residenza reflects this approach\, bringing together art\, heritage\, and setting within the historic Belgian Residence in London. \nVisitor Information\nThe exhibition is open for free walk-in access between 15:00 to 17:30. No booking is required\, and visitors are welcome to enter during opening times.
